Taco Bell ended the Chihuahua campaign in 2000 because it wasn't making them any money. Gidget's last acting gig was in 2003 (Legally Blonde 2). She played a Chihuahua.
Gidget would be @ 13 years old by now. With her status as a cult icon, I'm sure it'd be all over the internet if she had died.
