GH - Spinelli fans out there??!
Question: Spinelli is getting a really bad rap on here tonight. Does anyone agree with me that he adds a splash of humor to a very serious show? I grew up in the 60s and 70s, so I am accustomed to hearing odd speach patterns. I believe he is very knowledgable. He is very funny. Go Spinelli!!!!!!!!!

I love Spinelli. ABC soaps in depth spoke to Steve Burton about the character. Steve said had it not been for the actor who played Spinelli doing an outstanding job, his character would have been gone long ago. They loved the actor so much, they extended his character. I love how he is and how he talks, he adds humor to the show and right now with the strangler story line, the loss of Georgie....he adds vulnerability that we haven't seen before in a character. Its great.
I agree with you and sometimes he seems odd to me but thats a good thing for some seriousness of the show especially now that Georgie is gone :(
I like Spinelli, he is so goofy. I'm more excited about finding out who Spinelli's dad is than finding out who the text message killer is.
Spinelli is funny character. I enjoy him very much.And you are right about the splash of humor.
He is funny, he breaks up the violene with his humor. He makes me smile.
I love Spinelli. I think he is adorable. I felt so sorry for him when he read Georgie's emails and he discovered she had feelings for him but she's gone. He needs a girlfriend on the show. A local show out of Seattle did a phone interview with him a while back and it seemed odd to hear the voice speaking normally and not Spinelli speak. And he does add some much needed humor, you are sure right about that.
i love the jackel. i think he is a refreshing new addition to gh. we all kno 1 or 2 ppl who are a lil weird, marches to the beat of their own drum well spinelli is that person on gh. he's geeky and smart and cute. (i've always been attracted to geeky boys) yes he's not the conventional hottie like jason or logan or jax and sonny. he's lil bit messy but i digg it. i think he's hot and i wish they would give him more play with the ladies. then again he's innocence and naiveness in the romance department is also part of his appeal to me. he's funny and seeing other characters interact with him...trying to keep up always has me lmao. ppl need to be a lil more open minded and accepting of differences in other ppl.
he was okay in small doses...but he is so frickin' ANNOYING with his dialogue. I can't believe they keep him on the show and give Georgie the boot
I like him but not the dialog, just plain annoying.
I love him, he is one of my favs. hope they keep him around for a while.
He would be funny if used sparingly, but he's on all the time and his schtick got old months ago.

I agree with some of the others, he can be amusing in some doses,but somedays when the writers let him go on and on, it's annoying and tiring. If the show keeps him for a length of time,I look for his character to changed somewhat so he won't be so grating. I still wonder if we'll find out who his father is before we even know who Sam's father is!
I like Spinelli he's funny. Spoilers say that he finds out who his father is and makes Jason promise not to say anything. I'm wondering if Jerry is going to be his dad?
I love Spinelli. I agree that he adds humor to the show. He is one of my favorite characters now.

i absolutely love him, what a great actor!!!! He is so cute and sweet, and vulnerable...... a nice change compared to all the seriousness of soaps!!!

I adore his character and wish that the soaps had more Humor in them...I really get sick of the bickering and didnt it just break your heart when he saw the emails friday and found out that Georgie was in love with him..awe that was wonderful
