And yes, I think it has something to do with it. Relationships are stressful enough without a camera crew of 20 & all of the world watching your every move.
No it's the other way around. Destroyed marriages go on reality shows.
It depends on which ones, some test the relationships and someone gets hurt on the inside, it doesn't matter if they were drunk they did and said what they did and the worst part is its on tape!

Well Sharon and Ozzy are still going strong, but they've been through his addiction and her cancer and everything else so i guess a reality tv show won't break their marriage. But if it's a young couple doing a reality tv than chances are that their marriage will not withstand the test of being scrutinized constantly and being judged (especially if the couple's relationship is shallow or one of the partner is shallow). Don't forget britney and Kfed in your long list of reality break-up couples.
Reality shows probably make a strong marriage stronger, and a weak marriage weaker.
