Agreed I voted 8 times for Leon on the Night ,and there were times I couldnt get through to his line,Couldnt stand Ryhadins Opera and Anthem singing ,Leon has the Looks and a lovely voice ,But he is very nervous,If somebody could help him get over that ,I believe he will be a big star ,Robbie Williams hasent got a brilliant voice ,But he has been up there and if the Papers are to be believed wil be up there again soon ,
I guess it was vocal talent that makes Rhydian popular choice to win and shocked people when he lost. Leon had a great voice but vocally wasn't there also lacked confidence. The phone lines argument are total bullsh*t....... you expect lines to be engaged when so many people calls. They don't have phones for each person.
People also say Leon won because of his sob story but i see no wrong in him wanting to go all the way to help his Mum. I think thats sweet!! xxxxx
Well Leon was a talentless cute boy and Rhydian had an excellent homegrown talent with a phenomenal voice and humble carisma.
It was a shame that Leon won. We're going to be bombarded with a rubbish covers album now.

People thought rhydian would win because of his talent and because of what the judges were saying and i think that influenced them alot but leon still had a great voice and he had tried his best therfore he deserved to win
if rhydian had won ppl would have been saying the same but the other way around. the only reason ppl didnt complain about not bein able to get through to vote for Leon is cause he won. its silly! rhydian will make a career anyways so what are ppl going on about it for? geez anyone would think our world depended on it eh! lets all get off the soap boxes now and jus be pleased leon won! :)

dont think there is anythin wrong with leon winnin x factor. i voted 4 him at the final although once the 3rd place was announced i was unable to get thro 2 his number. so if u include the votes me, my sisters, my friends n any1 else that couldnt get thro would have placed would that take leon above ryhdian again?!
The singers in this series were the weakest that they've ever had and yet still people rave about it. Why? I just don't get it! Neither Leon nor Ryhdian were any good and neither should have won.

Brierly you are talking rubbish man!!! our pp going in for x-factor are of ahigh ssstandard than the americans, american idol is trash now, and some of them think they can sing but they end up embarrassing themselves, and how many make it over here ?
Whats wrong with Leon winning ? omg are you deaf? some of his notes were well off [ out of tune but you're agirl and don't hear these things or don't wanna, you just vote for the person its atalent contest, leon was best at about 5th, even the teacher was better than him and she went a month before the end, which i found puzzling , same as same difference going so far, OMG if they won, how are sony/bmg going to market them ? Good luck with leon somon and louis lets all see how long he lasts .

So the phone lines could differentiate between Leon voters and Rhydian voters before the phones were answered, so they didn't let the Rhydian voters get through then?

we all had our faves so we were wanting the fave to win...unfortunately Rhydian didn't win but he should have...i remember Dermy saying there was 1% between them, i think people were just shocked because Leon won...i think that had something to do with Kylie singing with him in the finals...it should have been about him, not her...
theres nothing wrong with him winning its just a few people say they got an engaged tone so everyones saying it. but you have to think if they were getting an engaged tone for ryhdian yet he didnt win and everyone who phoned for leon got through....but the same thing happened last year and it will keep on happening. but aleast ofcom are making sure its just a rumour
