Does anyone else see the satire that was in the show Married With Children?!
Question: So many people say Married With Children was either degrading to women or it was an example of how women belong in the kitchen. I don't think it was either of the two, but a satire on women's roles in society, through Peg, Kelly, and Marcy. And then examples of how men should not act through Al and his No Ma'am gang. There are other examples, but what do you think? I know this question is about 10 years too late, but Married With Children is still on TV and I think its funny.

This was groundbreaking tv for all the reasons you listed. Anyone who doesnt "get it" really needs to expand their horizons.
It was/is a hilarious show. The folk who thought it was degrading, etc, are just thinking too much. It was meant as a parody.....for laughs. I loved the show!
you can't mess with that show it was the bomb i still watch it time to time for a good laugh can't find nothing like that now n days!
