i know what you mean. this really bugs me too. at one stage pats house had pat, denise, kevin, chelsea, libby, deano and carly all in it. eileens house is another one in corrie that seems to be able to take in all the waifs and strays without to much trouble. seen as her house is a terrace it must only have 2 bedrooms so i don't know how this is possible. do the producers of soaps not think that we can count??!!!

More to the point, how big is the Slater's? At one point there was Charlie, Mo, Little Mo, Little Mo's husband, Kat, Zoe, Zoe's mate Kelly, and I am sure someone else too.

Of course they are cost cutting! how else do they manage to pay ￡300.000 a year (of our money) to newsreaders for....errrrr, reading the news....
Well seeing how it's a set, they can probably move walls with very little trouble to accomodate as many people as necessary.

I totally agree with you, I was having this conversation with my husband the other day. I think that you must have a room in a room in a room because how are they managing it. Its the same with Pat's house how many rooms does she have, considering how many people live there. It truly is amazing!!
To add on to Denise's answer:
I've actually been on the backlot at Elstree and visited Albert Square and even the exterior is very tiny whereas the interior is very, very cramped and that doesn't even include the cameras, the booms, the lighting and the rest of the production crew.

they need to be more realistic when they have so many characters in a house because they can't seriously expect people to believe that, that many people live in the Vic !
