The "Lauren" character was the weakest character in the whole show for me as well.

Yes, I saw it. I think you're being a bit unkind to George Michael. He's getting on a bit; it's his choice whether to bust a gut to keep a youthful profile, and obviously he's decided against.
Catherine Tate has wisely decided that you can't play a credible 15 year old forever. She's being very astute.
I find it difficult to believe that anyone would aspire to be like Lauren; and they'd never make it anyway. Remember Lauren's bursts of genius, like the Shakespeare recitation in the Children in Need: Doctor Who classroom scene? A class act. R.I.P.
I love that show. Yeah, George Michael has changed.

George Michael did look a bit awful, and Lauren is really funny but shame she has been killed in the end. and I really like the idea they put "still aint bovered" in her tomb. Thats well funny!!
He's also on the Extras special tonight.
Lauren is the best character on the programme, i think she was killed off because its planned to be the last ever Catherine Tate.
