Kylie in Dr Who?!
Question: What did you think? I am so use to seeing Kylie on the front of magazines air-brushed to iconic proportions that her appearance in Dr Who surprised me - nearing 40 and dressed as a strip-o-gramish looking waitress? Round-faced and reminding me of an ageing Charlene .Was anyone else disappointed ?

i think the character was supposed to be a humble person with a lowly job. she portrayed this perfectly. if she had been more glamorous then it would have not fitted in with the script. look at the soap awards where all the actors are far more glamorous in real life but when at work they have to wear and portray themselves as the characters. fair play to kylie for not insisting on anything further.
She was ok, the rest of the episode was rubbish though.
doctor who its self was great loved it but Kylie was disappointing any one could have played that part.
Nearing 40 and still looking bloody fantastic,can't say I was disappointed at all.
I was rather disappointed, it wasn't as good as the other Christmas specials. I hated all the unnecessary sentimental moments, and that part where Kylie/Astrid was telling the cyborgs that cyborgs were gradually getting more equal rights- XD
How the hell are we, as viewers, meant to relate to that?!
Previews for the next series and Torchwood were much more interesting :P
The new Dr. Who is rubbish anyway. Cheesey and hokey with horrid scripting. Ahhh, the good old days Drs 1-5.
She's not looking bad considering what she has been through recently, the whole episode was a complete waste of time. All that hype for a whole hour of complete rubbish, about time they wrote some decent stuff.
she wasnt bad in it & it was a good episode in my humble opinion.
I thought the episode was very mediocre but Kylie was great in it
i didnt like her, i thought they could have found someone better to do the job. i liked the rest of the episode, but i think when the dr kissed the hologram it was a bit cheesey, especially as he hardly knew her.
Come on. She's in her late 30's and has just recovered from breast cancer. She looked damn good, is your idea of "healthy" is some skinny model with their *** bone sticking out?
I'd quite happily take looking like her right now, and I'm 26 and perfectly healthy.
