Animation-wise, The Flintstones have nothing on the Popeyes of the 1930s and 1940s. There were some fun items in the Flintstones, but I always laughed more at Rocky and Bullwinkle.
Yeah it pretty much coverd the spectrum when it came down to the age of it's viewers. It was widely popular and went immediately into syndication. Gazoo did not do much for me. My favorite object I guess had to be their car. I also liked their Fraternal Order Costumes and Headress.
The Dinosaur that served as a construction crane..I know it's not that inventive, but when I was younger it looked amazing.
Hanna & Barberra were brilliant in antimated TV. They did not only Flintstones but Scooby doo, Jetsons, Yogi Bear, Droopy, Josie and the pussycats, Johny quest, huckleberry Hound, Wally Gator, Richie Rich...etc.
