Answers: When will we get new episodes of Desperate Housewives and Grey's Anatomy?

Next episode of Desperate Housewives "Welcome to Kanagawa" will be aired on January 6, 2008. Plot Summary: With Mrs. McCluskey's house completely destroyed, Lynette faces the prospect that her family may be gone. Katherine learns that someone knows something about her past. The neighborhood begins to rebuild both physically and mentally.

There's an episode of Desperate Housewives "The Devastating After Math" will be aired on January 13, 2008. Plot Summary: Lynette has to live with the fact that her family is gone forever. Gabrielle finds out about Carlos' condition. Bree drops baby Ben on a table, which leads to a severe condition. Susan visits Mike at rehab, and finds out a horrific secret. Edie finds out she is pregnant. The death of the kids and Tom leads to much horror and danger to Lynette. She tries to take her own life.

1 episode of Grey's Anatomy left. The episode "Lay Your Hands on Me" will be aired on January 10, 2008. Since the writers for television shows on strike, there will be no new episodes for most shows until more scripts are written. Shows like "Desperate Housewives" and "Grey's Anatomy" have both already gone through all their scripts. Until the writers come back and write more scripts, there will be no new shows. Right now, it looks like the strike will continue through at least early to mid-January, so you likely won't see any new episodes filmed for at least a month. Sorry to disappoint :(

Well the Writer's Strike talks are at a stand still for 16 days now and with the holidays week at hand I really don't see when will they be resumed. It's a shame that now that most of us have a few days off to enjoy TV all great shows are falling into a full stop one after the other.
As for DH and GA shows I think they will resume their regular broadcast when this crisis is over, I mean, they pulled out 24 January Premiere so the story won't suffer what these and others are suffering now.
I think that the Networks Big Cheeses must find a way to cope with these people's demands considering all the profit they made from series in stores and on-line buying, they have the economical means to easily provide a fair deal; this is a matter of pure and simple Corporate greediness and if they don't work it out soon I heard that the show talents are willing to support them for similar demands in a strike of their own.
