Why are the ratings down for Y&R....????!
Question: Recently it's dropped below 4.0 - representing a loss of over 300,000 viewers since last spring. I hear that the head writer Lynn Marie Latham is going to be fired.
Why do you think the ratings are down? What can be done to improve the show? Have you heard the rumors about firing the writers?

I think it's because it's been so boring lately. The Clear Springs SL was a disaster, literally. I think that's the biggest problem they've had lately. There's also the Victoria coma SL that has dragged on for far too long. I understand the actress who plays her was on maternity leave, but they should have planned it out better. I don't think I can take another bedside scene.
I stopped watching because it's boring. I watched for many years but the last few haven't had any good story lines.
Could it be they're all out Christmas shopping? or a result of the writers' strike?
Probably because people aren't watching it as much.
Plain and simple.lately it just plain SUCKS!!!!!!!!! they need to bring back Ashley and dump Gloria
I'm goin to hang in there!! Y&R forever - It can only get better!
Some story lines have been dull, but with the firing of Latham, hopefully it will get better............
