Of course it's ridiculous. So are all these "celebrities" wages. Along with footballers, etc. But it's us, the general public, who makes it possible. If we didn't provide an insatiable interest in them, then they wouldn't be able to command these fees. So it's a vicious circle. I just hope that most of them are ethical enough to give away huge amounts of it to charity, or use their celebrity status to raise money. (I live in hope!)
