It would be better if done by Mad TV.
The SNL writers just aren't funny any more. The jokes are predictable (which makes them unfunny), there's obviously no preparation by the actors to actually learn their lines (their incessent READING of cue cards while they speak annoys me to no end), and they've become too political.
Mad TV is so much funnier, and their casts only get better and better.
It's time for SNL to put a fork in it. They're done.
Add Dana Carvey or David Spade as Tim Gunn, Victoria Jackson or Jane Curtin as Heidi Klum and you've got it. The late Gilda Radner would have done a perfect Nina Garcia.
OK, some of these people are old, I know, but thinking about them in their prime they would have been perfect to play these characters.
