Abe Lincoln time travelling?!
Question: Okay, I believe it was on Saturday Night Live, and a really old skit at that, but it was about Abe Lincoln having a time machine and I believe accidentally killing people. Anybody got any idea about that?

Yep, first answer is right.
They had a one hour special called Toonces the cat and friends which featured several Toonces the driving cat sketches as well as Coach Dobbs, Abe Lincoln and his time machine, Mondo from way beyondo and Scruffy the rat.
Still got my vhs copy and just watched it and the SNL commercials special they had on around the same time.
It ended with a comment about when Abe Lincoln died they found several guns, a knife and sticks of dynamite on him, all from his assasination attemps on John Wilkes Boothe
yes...he went back and tried to kill john wilkers booth....classic I havnt seen it in years. i was in on VHS with other skits like tounces about 10 years ago
