Well there are pleanty of hints, like when Brian broke up with jillian and he was like "KISS THE NEXT PERSON U LOOK AT!!" and stood in his face, but he did date Olivia, but I think hes gay.

I think he is bi or just has no idea what his orientation is, but ultimately he is the token metro sexual male. Thats the running gag. He is in a club completely surrounded with a bunch of guys in white shirts. He is casually having a conversation pausing it only to break down in his fav part of the song. Then next he will have a girlfriend. He enjoys perverse things like being defiled with a bottle wearing lipstik or what ever but on the outside he maintains a shred although at times very small still a shred of heterosexuality. Kinda like a sadistic mix of Lois' sexiness and Peters chauvinistic attitude
