The only show that I remember from the 80's with a man, a woman and a Bird of Prey is Airwolf. It had Jan Michael Vincent in it.
It was a "renegade pilot going on missions". I don't really remember it being a detective series.
only show like that is Airwolf and that was a military time show based on the cold war and it ran between 84-87
the only detective show i can find think is moonlighting
