They killed John off because they had to find a way to write him off....but he's not gone for long. Heard rumors he's coming back and w/ Stefano's "soldier" having work done by Rolf, I have a feeling that they're making fans wonder if it's John w/ a new face or re-programed to be his soldier again...Also, it was funny how Marlena mentioned to Hope about John's mama maybe not being Daphne DiMera... typical soap, changing the parents to fit their storyline!
He is coming back.
I still can't believe he's really gone. I miss him!! If he doesn't come back, I have no interest in learning about his past. It would make me miss him even more.
I read in the soap opera digest that they are bringing him pack at the beginning of the new year. Have you heard about stefano and his little problem..
I don't know, but his contract isn't up yet, so he may be coming back and the thing about Stefano's "soldier", it might just be John. Soaps are mysterious that way. Maybe even weird.

I don't think he's really dead. Today when Stefano was talking about the "Patient" the camera focused on the chess board - maybe to show "The Pawn"??? Also, I think the female nemesis that has Stefano all riled up is really Colleen Brady. I think John is really Colleen and Santo's son, making him Stefano's half brother. Maybe that's why Stefano is keeping John alive...I guess we'll just have to wait and see!
I think that john is still alive because stefano had his secret weapon..which i think is john and he has something that will help defeat his enemy....and that picture marlena found was the creepest picture..and i think that john's real mother is probably stefano's enemy..which is why stefano will use her sona s a weapon.
Whatever happened to him being Forest Alamain the long lost brother of Lawrence Alamain in a storyline from years ago ,that allowed him to stop being a cop because he was entitled to a large chunk of the Alamain fortune ,which was why he was rich.How do you think they're going to mesh the storylines together?I hope Drake Hogestyn comes back too.
