US Television writers object to the fees their receive for when content they write is broadcast over the Internet, so they have agreed with each other to not to any writing until the issue is resolved with the studios.
No writing means no scripts for the shows.

the writers guild is the writers union in hollywood. and they have decided to strike to get even MORE $$$$ for their shows that they write, because the producers make tons of money, so the greed factor trickles down the line to the lowly writers who make 6 to 10 grand a week already..
