SCD - Why does the Director have to switch screens and zoom so much?!


Question: You never get to see the dance properly because the camera angle changes every 2 seconds. Why do Directors think we can't just watch the dance from one or two angles full length so we can see the whole dance and all of the dancers? It does my head in.

they call it art!! I quite agree with you, all the moving around spoils the flow of the dance. Unfortunately, they are probably thinking that some of the viewers wouldn't watch it, if it was just straight forward filming.

The directors change the angel of the camera so that people can see the different effects on it and because they think it would make it more interesting for the viewers Report It

  • I agree because when the judges make comments about the footsteps etc we the viewing public do not know what they are talking about

    I've never noticed I just enjoy it to much, I will now though. cheers!! lol
