How come on reality love shows the winner cannot see the celebrity for months??!
Question: On shows on MTV and Vh1 such as I love new york, flavor of love, shot at love with tila tequila, and rock of love, why is it that when one contestant finally wins they must stay separated from the celebrity who's heart they just won over??? They are not allowed to see or even speak with eachother? This is mean. Why does this happen? They must remain apart for so long WHY??

This may not be an "official" answer but it is a logical one: These shows are filmed usually months in advance of their airdate (that's because of the great amount of editing needed to turn them into viewable programming). So, if the pair of lovers were ever seen together ANYWHERE before the final episode of the series ran, it would give away the result, and the "surprise" ending would be ruined! Considering the advertising revenue that would be lost from lower ratings because the finale was revealed, you can understand why producers force the pair to stay secluded.
they say so its people dont discover who won, by accidently being seen together. My thoughts are it is set up that way on purpose so the relationships fails, cause if ya notice they always seem to fail by the reunion shows . I dont know if it is a set up and the relationship was staged, or if the person just has second thoughts about the whole damm situation, perhaps at the time they were chosen they were just caught up in the momentum of it all and once they were apart they could see things more clearly.
Because the show has to air and none of the production staff want to give out who the winner was by having the people seen with each other.
