Buffy The Vampire Slayer Question?!

Question: I've been re-watching the Buffy series and I was wondering if you fans had any ideas about why Anya was afraid of bunnies. In several episodes it mentions that she is afraid of them but in a later episode you see a flash back and she's holding and playing with loads of bunnies.
Also in season 4 episode 16 'Who Are You' Buffy and faith switch bodies, if Buffy was killed, while in Faiths body would it bring forth a new slayer?

As for the first question, I have no clue why Anya is afraid of bunnies. I know what episodes you are talking about, where she is seen raising them and giving them to villagers. My only guess would be that when her husband cheated on her, she thought of the bunnies as bad luck. Talk of the bunnies breeding made him want to breed, etc. Or, you can take all the things she said in "Once More With Feeling": hoppy legs, twitchy little noses, why do they need such good eyesight?

As for your second question (I've been rewatching the episodes, too, and I just saw that one Monday!), I think the slayer line is tied into the slayer's essence (soul) rather than the body. We already know that Buffy's death did not bring forth a new slayer in seasons 5-6. The slayer line would them continue with Faith's soul, and so on. But the potentials in season 7 were able to become slayers by Willow using the essence of the slayer embedded in the sythe.
