I live in Minnesota where the show is supposed to take place. The show is way different from the books, but its still a good show. I have always loved watching it. You should read the books. They are wonderful. And a good way to practice your English....you are doing great!!

I liked the series I was a kid when i saw it the first time. I was amased that the Dad seemed to know how to do almost everything.

I really didn't care much for "little house on the prairie". quite boring for me. my grandma liked it though, so we were forced to watch it against our will :)
Some classics like "the waltons" ... "grizzly adams" ....were also watched in our house.
I do like it,but I like The Waltons Better. I don't know what you mean by Diffused.I like best when they were very young,at Christmas Time.
I don't know what you mean by diffused...but yes, I love Little House on the Prairie. I think it is the best family show ever on television. Even better than Who's the Boss and Full House. I have just started to collect the boxed DVD sets for the different seasons.

I live 10 miles from the original Little House and the show is mostly true to form. There are many many musuems that have so much history here in Kansas.I love the show still and i'm 47yrs old..ps your english is fine
My favorite show when I was a kid. And I also read all the Laura Ingalls Wilder books. I wish shows were as wholesome as they were back then. The shows told a good story, there was no bad language and the family always stuck together. If you like to read, I recommend the books highly.
I grew up watching Little House on the Prairie. Looking back, it was just a fun and sweet series that grew along with the characters. It is based on the books by Laura Ingalls Wilder (which are wonderful by the way). I know by today's stadards this series is very tame, but it was fun to see what Laura would do, especially when she started showing her jealousy when she realized she REALLY liked Alonzo. I loved this series and cried when it went off the air in 1983 (I was 8, so cut me some slack) :) I am glad that you are enjoying this series.

It was a good wholesome family show and we still get reruns on some stations.
