I love the show. Especially the Christmas episode when Ma bought Pa a shirt and Mary made Pa the same shirt and Laura sold her horse to buy Ma a stove.
Also the one where Albert pretended to be blind so he didn't have to leave the Ingalls and go work on his dad's farm. That's the only reason his dad wanted him back.
I liked it and that was so long ago.
I think my mom liked it in the 70's, but I don't like it. It's a girl show.
Growing up, the Laura Ingalls Wilders series of books were some of my favorites. Little House was my favorite TV show, I think little girls like it because they imagine themselves as being Laura. It's still on on reruns today - if it's an episode that I really enjoy, I'll watch it again.
i loved the books in the late 70's.they were very sweet.but i could not connect them with the tv show at all,and was disappointed.anyway it was still fun.the books are a lot better though!.and i have just bought my sister a "Little House on the prairie cookbook" from amazon.uk website.i look forward to reading it!.
I enjoyed watching it growing up. I haven't seen it on the tv for a long time though. Probably on deja vu channel.
