i know, its BS. honestly, i dont know why anyone would hire anyone union anyways. i mean, who else can go on strike for months and still have a job? i think thats completly unfair. if you dont like what you're paid, quit and get a better job just like the rest of us!
and these writers obviously dont care that their strike affects everyone else who works in entertainment. every make-up artist, hair-stylist, electriction, sound guy, light guy... none of them are working because of this crap.

The studios have made no move to hire scabs thus far, probably because they know it would shut down Hollywood completely. SAG members and Teamsters would refuse to work with scabs, and if your cast and crew refuse to work it doesn't matter if you have writers (even the low quality you'd get from scabs). Besides, who would want to watch something written by scabs who don't have a clue what the real writers have planned?
