I think Storm did it, but not really as payback. I think he did it so that he can bail his dad out of jail and be the hero again. Then he can show his dad how powerful he is and and that he can take better care of the family than him, even now. I think it is all about the power trip with Storm. He is threatened now that Stephen is back in the picture; he had to do something to gain control and secure his leadership position.
...just my opinion. I'm a huge fan. By the way, did anyone else feel so bad for Stephanie on today's episode (decorating for xmas)? I think Eric will end up going back to her.

On Friday's episode, when his sister's gave him the surprise birthday party, he talked with Brooke about how their father wasn't there for them & how he had to "step in" as the father.
I definitely think he's setting Stephen up as "payback".

I dont even watch the show, but I think she set it up herself to be shot.Because every1 was mad @ her 4 all her lies and deceit. So I think she did it for sympathy and 2 get Eric back
