Because its a *family show* and they can't show that much skin. It didn't look that skimpy to me either, but my 11 year old son watched with me every week and even he commented on the fact that he was glad they covered her butt, haha!

Because that was *not* a bathing suit she was wearing, it was underwear.and her butt was hanging out of her panties. These people were dropped off in their dress clothing, remember. Most stripped down to their skivvies shortly after arriving.

The "cheeks" answers here make no sense, because the girls in bikini bottoms show their cheeks all the time. Is it perhaps a grooming thing (no razors), maybe some hair showing? I notice they blur the front tops of guys shorts when they droop too low, so it could be the same thing.
