yes many of the shows only shot a few episodes when the strike happened. they may show reruns or xmas movies in the time slot. i know desperate housewives ended 2 sundays ago and im going nuts bc there wasnt a follow up episode.

yes they have ran out of the shows that were written for this season so now they have no new shows and have switched to reruns

It's affected all scripted series, in that they are all out of scripts or will be within a week or two. Also, many actors have refused to cross the picket lines. For example, the cast, creator, and directors of Heroes have joined the writers on the picket lines to show their support.
