in the 70's there was a cartoon with monsters that sang songs, called The Groovie Goolies, had a vampire and frankenstien monster and werewolf, a mummy a witch and several others, they sang 2 songs per show..

not sure what you're thinking of from the 80's. I watched alot of cartoons thru the 70's and 80's and dont remember one then...

It was syndicated in repackaged form as "Groovie Goolies and Friends" (this version incorporated animated cartoon versions of My Favorite Martian,Lassie and Gilligan's Island and several other orriginal 'toons from the Filmation library).
