The casting for kid nation 2 already ended on october 9th. There will possibly be a kid nation 3 depending on how well the 2nd one does, how many people watch it, and how good the ratings are. They are already discussing having a 3rd one and will probably cast as soon as the 2nd one is done getting filmed which will most likely be pretty soon. I hope this helped.
The only lesson you have to learn is that if a shows ratings tank enough over the season there will not be a season 2. KN is one and done, why, no one is humiliated when they are kicked off, or fired, out.
