There won't be a new episode for quite some time. Last Sundays episode was a found rough copy of a script found by the producers a week into the strike. At best if the Writers came back from the strike next week the soonest newest episode you would see would be late January. All shows go on hiatus for 3 weeks in December. If the strike lasts through out the end of January early February, the whole season could be scrapped. That is not just for Desperate Housewives , but for all the shows for the Season. If the Strike should go through to March, Summer movie releases would be affected, because movies are always going through re-writes during filming !!!

No, there was no new episode of Desperate Housewives tonight (12/09/07).
The last episode to air was last week "Something's Coming" (about the tornado). The next episode was supposed to air in January (they just finished it when the writers strike started), but now it's postponed indefinitely.
If the writers strike keeps going, they will use that episode as the premiere of next season...whenever that will be.
