Production On Heroes Is Currently On Whole Due To The WGA Strike, Which Sucks! LOL. Here's Some More Info On Heroes Season 2 & The Strike:

Wikipedia:

The second season of Heroes premiered on September 24, 2007, but only 11 of 24 episodes have been broadcast, due to the writers strike. The dispute also led to the postponement of a six episode spin-off, Heroes: Origins, which was originally expected to air in April and May of 2008

Film School Regects:

The grim reality that will exist as a result of the impending Writers Guild of America strike is beginning to unfold this weekend as we begin to see reports that have much anticipated projects being put “on hold” (translation: canceled) and others being cut short. One project in particular was the upcoming NBC spin-off “Heroes: Origins”. The Hollywood Reporter said this week that “Origins” was being put on hold by NBC, mostly out of fear for the writer’s strike. They also speculated that lackluster ratings for the still young second season of the flagship show could have contributed as well, forcing NBC head Ben Silverman to pull it from the Spring lineup.

I Love Heroes! And Im Sad the Strike Is Cutting Down the Number Of Episodes Shown!

The Writers Guild of America (WGA), which is all the script writers in Hollywood for both TV and movies, is on strike (see http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oJ55Ir2jC... for info on the strike). Production of most scripted shows, Heroes included, has shut down. In the case of Heroes, the cast, directors and creator have joined the writers on the picket lines. If the strike is settled quickly then production can begin again after the holidays and we'll get a full season. If it drags on, there won't be time and there will be no new episodes of scripted shows until Fall 2008 at the earliest.
