There's bound to be more. The last season lasted for ages! oh i so love heroes!
The rest of the episodes are supposed to continue immediately after the writer's strike, unless the strike ends during summer, then they'll wait until next september. The show is not being put off because in the beginning the creators said ther would be at the least three seasons.
It's the full 22 eps ~ with the Hollywood writers strike only 11 have been able to be shown on US tv.The rest follow early next year.
It depends on how long the writers' strike lasts. When the strike loomed imminently, the creators/writers/PTB reworked what was supposed to just be a culmination of the early story into a season finale. If the strike ends soon (not likely at this point, barring a miracle), then they will write and film the rest of the full season that they were supposed to air this year. It doesn't look likely that anything will be resolved in the strike early enough (as it takes about 2 months from starting a script to airing the episode, which means the strike needs to end within the next month or two) and/or that there will be more Heroes until next year though.
