Question: Could somebody explain the last episode MIRROR IMAGE to me please? Who exactly was the Bartender? Why did Sam see himself in the Mirror? Why was Sam in time as himself? Why did certain people look like or have similar names as others? Who was the Ukranian Leaper? Why did the others not remember him? Why did Sam not go home?

it seems that the bartender was sams subcontious. they were trying to put across that all along sam has believed he was being lept (leaped?) from person to person by God or another almighty being, it turns out that it was sam himself who was responsible for it but he couldnt accept this, the bartender told him that he could go home anytime he wanted if he only accepted that it was he who was leaping but the fact that he 'never returned home' meant that he felt his place was to continue leaping and helping people. or something.
i have a tear in my eye now, that remains the saddest ending to any tv show ever.
when r they going to remake the equaliser?

Sam saw himself in the mirror as he hadn't jumped into anybody else's body.
The bartender was supposed to be the person / power / god who had sent him on all the missions in the first place
He was himself as he had asked at the end of the last mission, or might have been a the begining of this one for it all to end.
The others didnt remember him because a. he now looked like sam to them too and they had never seen sam before only the person he was when he jumped and b. They were images of the people he had helped brought to this time to remind sam of what good he had done throughout his travels, not the people themselves (if I recall they all had different names)
Sam did not go home because they were hoping to get a movie deal at the end of the series, to date that has not happened.

The bartender was the person who kept leaping sam to different places. sam saw himself in the mirror he was in time as himself to explain to him why he was being leaped.
i can't remembember who the ukrainian leaper was.
the episode just ended that dr sam beckett never returned home.
