Question: I thought Robin had aids? Remember she got it from Stone? I'm confused. How is she gonna have kids? Can someone explain this to me? I mean I've heard about people with aids having kids who don't have it, but I'm lost on this one. Thnx!!!

Yes! robin has the virus to the disease to the aids. She is HIV positive. And yes, she did get it from stone years and years ago. I do not know if you have ever watched night shift. There was a woman on there who had the same thing that robin has. Her name was Stacey. Stacey was pregnant at the time when night shift was on. Spinelli and Jason delivered her baby c- section in the elevator at the hospital. Stacey went on to have a healthy baby girl. Even though Stacey didn't make it. Her daughter did. I think that there is some kind of drug that protects the baby inside the womb. And this stops the baby from carrying the mother's blood. But - in order for the baby to survive they have to take the baby Cesarean.
She is HIV positive. I guess there is a low chance of the baby getting it, unless something happens at birth. I was confused too, bc doesnt a baby get it's mother's blood??

Robin is HIV positive. And yes she got it from Stone. As for a baby, she can have a sperm donner, but it looks like Patrick is jealous. He doesn't want ther to have just anyone's child, yet he doesn't want to be the father himself. I think it's very strange, even though Patrick is now dating Layla, unless they broke up last time I watched.

And as everyone else has said, she can have a c-section to avoid passing it on to the child. If you watched Night Shift, there was a patient with HIV that gave birth to a baby that did not have HIV.
She has HIV, not AIDS and women with HIV can still have children, they usually use artifical insemination and deliver by C-section.
