OMG the books and the series are so0o0o0o0o different from eachother! i stated reading up to the 4th book.
and im getting tired of them. it's better to just watch the show now! its more interesting :D
I would have to say that I like the books better. The series aren't that accurate.

the books are wayy different. I personally L O V E both, but the series just takes events from the book and then adds its own stuff in. Basically just the characters and setting and some events are taken from the book, everything else is all the series.

its not really like the book at all. the characters are the same for the most part. but the story line is totally different. the main things like blair and serena agruing bc serena slept with nate is the same. also in the book vanessa is said to have a shaved head and srenas bro is in college and supposed to be hot and not sucidal. so i just think of them as two seperate things b/c otherwise i would be annoyed that they are not the same. but theyre both really good!!
