helll yes...it just take a while to get used to.....the first time a watched it....i didnt think its funny....but i watched it again ...its rly funny.....it was nominated for some emmys........steve carrell is brilliant

I think the American version of The Office is hilarious. I don't care much for the original British series.
sometimes, but yeah, sometimes it's more of a painful kind of funny then super laugh out loud funny; i think that's kind of the point tho.

I think the Office is one of the funniest shows I've ever seen. I hardly ever laugh out loud at television shows but this show has made me lol on several occasions. This season has been the bet yet. I can't wait for new episodes to return.

Love the English version, but I don't think it kept it's edge or its subtle humour in the American version

You have to 'get' the humor - it is not everyones taste. I love it and to me its better than Basil and Del boy.

It made me laugh when they were first out, it was totally original. But now, with Ricky's massive ego, don't find the episodes funny at all!!
the cringe worthy parts of it are the funnier bits. I guess its a matter of choice, but I like it.
the awkward moments and stares make make the funny parts that much better. it is a thinking comedy not a lot of american viewers like to think they want everything blatantly spelled out for them.
I also think it was cool how this season they made dwight and angela the main couple making you care about them without changing either characters personality at all. both are still jerks.
I think you have to actually work in an office to get some of the awkward situations that are aired on the show. I think its funny because I can relate to it in so many ways.
