In Spooks what happened to Adams son?!

I thought that too, they never seemed to mention it and we just discovered Adam in bed with Ros, what did happen with his nanny?
Wes is in boarding school, he mentioned him a few episodes ago, as a cover up for when he was off messing with Anna. Was he in love with her or not? I suppose its a good thing that Wes is out of the way, at least then hes safe.
Nothing happened to the boy, as far as I know.
Perhaps he went to live with some relatives, considering the life his father has been leading. I am sure the boy would have been in danger if certain hostile parties had found out the situation.
His son has been sent away to boarding school, I remember him telling Ros, that he had to go see his son at school because he was homesick, but really he had spent the night with the woman who was spying on her husband for him.
Nothing has been said about the nanny, but with his son away he no longer needs her.
