MTV Sucks!!!!!!!?!
Question: Why did they stop playing videos? That's all they used to do. They shouldn't even be called Music Television. There's stupid reality shows like the Hills. What happened. Do people really not want to watch a channel that plays videos?

Yeah, most of the stuff they have on that channel have absolutely nothing to do with music, like "Made" and that horrible show, "My Super Sweet 16"...argh!
They do have another channel - MTV2, and they do play more music videos, but it's dumb how Music TV basically turned into a channel that has nothing to do with music and everything to do with crappy shows.
I guess I'm old school. I grew up in the 80s/90s and back then MTV was all about music videos, and maybe the occasional Remote Control show, which was a game show based on music and tv, wasn't it? So at least the other shows were related somehow to music...
LOL, I guess I'm the new generation of old people. Instead of crabbing about walking to school both ways uphill in snowstorms, I'm bellyaching about how MTV has sold out to the ratings game!
I agree with you, man....MTV does suck....try FUSE tv--they play music videos....
There are so many other similar channels now to compete with. I'm so old that I remember MTV (in Britain at least) from the start. It was soooooooo much better then when it was more raw and new.

I agree man, even VH1 is better than MTV now, MTV has no good shows on now. I remember when they had Yo! MTV Raps, and people loved it and the artists loved being on the show. even Justin timberlake of all people said, "MTV has to go back to their roots and play videos again, and only videos." he said this at the MTV music awards
