GH: New Theory on the Port Charles killer!?!
Question: Okay so for a while I was totally convinced Nick killed Leticia but I don't think he killed anyone anymore. Listen.
1.Today Jax was saying again to Carly just as he did friday to Sonny how the killer was targeting people close to Sonny.
2.He also mentioned that today he thought it could be a friend or family member of someone he betrayed in the past.
3. Rewind to Coop meeting with Carly at the ball.
4. Coop's last name is Barret.
5. Brenda Barret was left at the alter by Sonny.
6. Stay with me.
7. Coop had the mindset of nothing to lose when....
8. he came to PC with JERRY JAX.
9. Jerry Jax is Jax's brother.
10. Brenda loved both Jax and Sonny,

I LIKE THE THEORY, AND IT'S ON POINT BUT I DON'T KNOW ABOUT THE SONNY BEING THE FATHER THING. I THINK IT'S JAX BECAUSE HE DOESN'T HAVE ANY KIDS, AND I THINK THE WRITERS WILL GIVE HIM ONE, BEFORE CARLY CAN GET PREGNANT.
i was wondering the same thing about coop being the killer too stupid me didn't realize Barret was his last name. good theory. remember the barrett woman that was on night shift she got burned in the ambulance explosion...
the spoilers already said a month or two ago that killer was going to be coop but that is an interesting theory about his getting revenge for brenda!!!! also... on nightshift what happened to the dark haired patient with her face covered named barrett??? guza wouldnt leave that loose end and not push in into gh storyline... right?? also , i just heard that the talks of nightshift 2 is being worked out!!!
I am not thinking Brenda is old enough to be Cooper's Mother. Brenda would be the same age as Jason (They went to High School together) Jason is 37 (Well Steve Burton is and Jason has to be close) so Brenda is 35 or so. Cooper having served in Iraq is likely 20. If he is Brenda's Son then the father would have to be Jagger has that is the person Brenda was sleeping with when she was 15.
He could be her brother though which would also explain killing Georgia, As the son of Harlan Barrett he would hate Mac for helping to destroy his father (along with Bill Eckhart who is dead and Robert and Anna who are out of reach) If Robin becomes a target then this theory may fit.
I actually hope it is wrong though. GH needs to return to having families on this show and the Barretts could be a good place to start especially if Cooper is the son of Julia Barrett and either Bill Eckhart (making him Lucky, Lulu and Carly's cousin) or Ned Quartermain.
I think all the clues may be pointing to Cooper to throw us off. It has been pointed out that Alfred resembles Stravos (maybe a forgotten Uncle) but that would only explain Emily.
What if there is more then one killer? Helena "killed" Emily in order to whisk her away from Nick. And her death was faked like the Cassadines have a habit of doing.
The other killer? How about Sonny? Here me out they have started to draw comparisons between Sonny and AZ. What if Sonny's mind has snapped and that is why he has been texting Carly? Okay a long shot I know but far more interesting then a throw away character like Cooper has become.
For the past few weeks I've been thinking Coop is the killer. Months ago the rumor was that Coop's parents were A.J. Quartermaine and Julia Barrett. It would make sense that Coop would want revenge against Sonny for what he did to A.J.
I think it would make sense if Brenda was Coop's sister...not mom because she's not that old, and Sonny has enough kids...but I remember when Sonny found out who Coop was he said that he recognized the name Barret, it just doesn't make sense that he wouldnt have done a background check to see his true identity...that's kinda un-Sonny like, but I guess it makes sense because if Sonny had realized it back then who Coop really was they wouldn't be able to get away with this storyline now, if Coop really is the killer I mean
Let's not forget that Sonny is blackmailing Coop to be the mole for him in the PC Police Dept!
I just wanted to add that the hands they showed texting the other day were NOT Sonnys hands.
They were either Coop {as rumor has it} Logan or Johnny!
And DUH why would Sonny NOT recognize the name Barret? Duh Brenda was his first real love!!!! Thats just stupid writing!
I really think they've been trying to woo Vanessa back but its just not working out for them! JMO! Altho the rumors are going around that an old fav is returning ....
im still thinking helena is behind it all i was thinking emily isnt really dead but why can nik touch her and kiss her and tracy couldnt touch alan why would they have 2 dead people coming back around the same time maybe there was some thing in the water or some kind of subliminal music and every body in pc thinks emily is dead and thats why they cant see her helena is a powerful person i also think alfred is somehow involved maybe to protect emily its been a long time since gh did sci fi remember casey the alien? this is just my opinion
I don't think it is Coop because on one of the previews it showed Maxie being strangled. She isn't close to Sonny. Although, she did cheat on Coop so he might be getting revenge against her also.
