Question: I love watching The Closer. The leading lady is such a tough little Southern Belle. Smart too. She's very believable and entertaining. The best sleuth to come along since Magnum PI.

That's my favorite summer series to watch. Kyra Sedgewick does such a good job with that role, except it's not very believable that she could eat all that junk food and yet stay so slim!
Did you know she is married to Kevin Bacon in real life (at least she was last I heard!)
Something about her character reminds me of my own mom--she was very smart and such a "superwoman", really ahead of her time in lots of ways, but totally neurotic and down on herself all the time, just like BrendaLee Johnson.
I also like the way she always wears dresses; it really stands out in this day and time & her profession and makes her look so classy, even when she is getting down & dirty at a crime scene or during an interrogation!
