Question: It's true what Lisa G said,Derek was booted of the show cause he was exposed as a fraudster!
This hasn't deterred him,no.... he's still pulling the same scam on many others.
A while back,i saw a show with him still performing his shows to sell-out audiences,and a film was being made about him.
A reporter met him,and cooked-up some storey,to see if he would take the bait.....and of cause he did bite!
However...he tried to justify his findings when he realised it was a joke on him....a bit to late though!

I think Derek got too big for his boots. Shortly before he left, I heard he wanted ￡15,000 for a public appearance when all the others were doing it for nothing.
I'm not sure, but wish he hadnt left it's not quite the same without him lol.

Keiran O'Keefe exposed Derek as a fake. On set at one of the locations, Keiran started a rumour among the crew that the place was haunted by a South African called Kreed Kafer-which is an anagram of "derek faker". It was a complete fabrication-and sure enough, during the vigils, derek became "possessed" by Kreed Kafer-and actually called himself that. Keiran had suspected for a long time that Derek was a fake and informed Karl and Yvette of his plans beforehand. Derek was booted off the show shortly afterwards.
I've heard the story about Derek being exposed as a fake by the show itself which I think is a bit rich and really unkind of them. It's not like we didn't all suspect it was just a bit of a lark and Derek was the biggest attraction on there anyway so why kill off the best part of your own show? That was daft if you ask me.
