Dont worry, there is a contract in place for 48 more episodes of Lost, so they'll be made and aired no matter what. Three more seasons each with 16 episodes, each airing between Feb-May of each year in '08, '09, and '10.
That after the settlement they will find ways to get rid of many of them as payback and we will all lose because the writing could become worse.

I don't want to have to wait for Season 10 DVD to see the finale.
If it is long like the 1988 strike was and we have to wait until next fall for new episodes, many shows will suffer. :(
