Truthfully, yes people CAN be that stupid.
I used to watch a game show where the two contestants had to choose which person on the street (3 choices) answered questions correctly, and let me tell you there are some truly STUPID people out there.
Oh, I quit watching because it was just too painful to see these stupid people on TV.

You obviously haven't been out much, lol. I run into people that dumb nearly everyday. I am begining to think that the world is just becoming dumber, like that movie Idiocracy.
I don't think they are the smartest people in the world but I think a lot of that has to do with editing.
I agree, editing makes anyone dumb and its funny 2 think that people are really that dumb :}
