Who else thinks the NBC show Heroes is stupid?!

Question: I think it steals elements from X-men and turns it into a bad drama.

Answers: I think it steals elements from X-men and turns it into a bad drama.

Yes, Yes and Yes

Honestly, I see it the other way around. X-men seems to be a cheap knock-off of the Justice League idea. In my opinion, Heroes is much more original because it reinvents the old out-of-date superhero concept, and it combines that concept into the daily lives of normal people, which allows the audience to form an emotional connection with the characters. In X-men, you can't really feel that same connection with the characters because the characters are way out in left-field science fiction. But lately, I think that since the start of the second season, they've taken Heroes into a much more bizarre direction, and I haven't enjoyed it the same as I did in season one.

Nope. I gave up on the X-Men years ago when it made soap operas look simple and non-melodramatic. Heroes takes some good ideas from the comic book genre and transplants them into a more realistic world, which makes it fresher and more interesting. The lack of spandex is refreshing as well. It's similar to Rising Stars, but IMO Rising Stars spluttered out at the end. Heroes has had some issues this season, but creator Tim Kring is aware of the problems and has promised to fix them, so I'm looking forward to more (as long as they don't kill off Sylar).
