I'm curious, what kind of a person can actually sit for more that 30 seconds!

Question: I work from home and take a break occasionally to grab an early lunch or snack and will sometimes turn the TV on. I've come across this show a few times and gave it an honest, fair shot at redeeming itself, but it's like FINGERNAILS ON A CHALK BOARD!

I don't usually react much one way or another, but wow, this show was so *annoying* with all the women cackling about a nonsense topic at the same time...I was curious how they stayed on the air???

Maybe it's just me...there's always that.

Don't you feel for those poor bastards lying in a hospital somewhere who can't change the channel and that comes on? Swear to God, they're probably trying to rip out their life support and just get it over with!! "OHMYGOD, they're talking about menopause, AGAIN! aagghh, aaaacckk, ......"
Code Blue, Code Blue in room 223!

It's not just you. I don't think I've ever lasted even 30 seconds! What a waste of airtime...still, somebody much watch it, or it would be cancelled. It's a mystery!

I've only seen it a couple of times, but it is VERY annoying. It is better now that Rosie O'Donnell is off. She's a total jerk. Then there's the Barry Manilow thing. He wouldn't go on the show unless Elizabeth wasn't going to be there because he disagrees with her views. Grow up Barry, you're a jerk too!

I watched it occasionally when it first started. Meredith Viera was tolerable. I don't care much for it now though. Too much drama and cattiness for my taste.

No, it's not just you. I like the way you describe it - I couldn't have said it better myself. Joy's voice is enough to turn it off. I think the public may like the arguing - all thinking they're right all the time. And what's funny is that they think they have a shot at winning a daytime Emmy.

I've watched it a few times to see if it was as bad as I've heard. So I did sit down through several shows. It was annoying and I don't like the show. A bunch of loud mouths with nothing to say, just gossip and negativity.

It would appeal to those full of negativity and sadly it is a popular show. I live in a college town and the women's studies dept. actually watches the view and writes about what they got out of each show......... go figure!

The only groups of women I can think of that like this crap are bored housewives and stay-at-home moms, (this show would be a legitimate argument in favour of more working moms/families) women who believe in women's lib, (this show has a long-standing reputation of complaining about how horrible men are) or women who find "The Price is Right" too intellectually taxing. That's it. Intellegent women who have actual careers and/or exciting lives do not watch this propagenda.

Never watched it

I enjoy it because it gets my thought process going when they bring up topics and I actually get to make a decision in my mind about certain subjects or practices (not that it really matters in the realm of things)....It takes you away for awhile and lets you have your own 'minds' opinion without someone putting you down for it!!
And yes, they are annoying to a degree, but somehow the job gets done by them....I only wish that they could find a totally 'team' oriented panel to soothe the overtalk....

It cant be that bad , it is still on the air , there are worst shows out there .
