I love the show. It's really funny. I've seen every episode like 20 times.
Debra: I think she's lost in everything. She's confused about her feeling most of the time. She wants Marie to respect her but she can't figure out how to respect Marie. She's funny and she was a huge part of the show.
Ray: He was the life of the show. He annoyed me a lot though. He didn't know who's side he should be on. Marie's or Debra's. He was torn between the two women in his life.
Frank: He was the funniest person on the show. He only loved one thing. Food. As long as his stomach was happy so was he.
Marie: She was a real ***** sometimes. But that's what made her funny. Without her the show wouldn't be what it is.
Robert: He was always competing with Ray. He was jealous of Ray. Ray had everything he wanted. He had a crush on Debra which made subject lines in many episodes.
I felt this show was based on my family. There were quite a few times where my father and I were watching together. He thought I recorded arguement he and my mom have and send it in. Because they said the exact same things on the show that my parents do in real life.
I don't really watch it, it seems a bit like friends..
I love that show. Marie is my fav though because she reminds me of my exs mother. She insulted just about everything i said or did. hence why he is my ex.
its ok, funny and have the story. i love frank and marie the most, they're so so funny :)
I know I'm not going to get best answer for this, but I HATE that show! The characters treat each other with such sarcastic contempt that it drives me crazy. Poor Raymond is so whipped that he's not even a man any more, and Debra is the nastiest control-freak of a wife! And Raymond's parents -- OMG -- worst sort of people ever. Marie is so hypercritical of her daughter-in-law with no regard to human emotion and feeling. The disconnected father, Frank, is an uncaring, self-absorbed jerk! If that dysfunctional family were real, the kids would be in therapy!
