Animals on Im a celeb treated badly?!
Question: all tha lil animals on tha bush tucker trials, their not exactly treated well are they, some probably die, quite alot probably get hurt, ...all for our entertainment on a populor TV show.....wrong or not such a bad thing?...the celebs CHOOSE to go onto tha show....tha animals dont have a choice....

I actually work in the TV and Theatre industry and can tell you that if a cockroach (for example) were being used in a TV drama, there is usually someone off-camera (known as "a Wrangler") who is responsible for a) making sure the creature is not put in harm's way and b) for trying to ensure that the creature is where the script says it should be at any given time.
It baffles me how the dreadful treatment of living creatures on this rediculous Reality Show is allowed to continue.
The bugs actually DIE in front of the camera in the name of entertainment.
Species are also thrown together in an undignified and unnatural manner simply to disgust or horrify the particular celebrity in question. In the process they are either attacked by creatures they share the space with or trodden underfoot by humans.
It's about time an Animal Welfare Agency stepped in and put a stop to this cruelty once and for all. Either that or bite the heads off the celebrities involved!

You are totally correct! At last someone who thinks the same as i do, n doesn't just say 'their only bugs!'... when the celebs are layed down and then they put bugs on them, then they get up and just stand on them all! its horrid! and just for a complete cr*p reality show, which is just failing celebrities trying to seek a come back!... as you can see i get carried away when answering questions. lol. but that's how i feel... and I'm glad you do to x

I've seen a grizzly bear eat a frog for no reason other than it was hopping....I dont think the bear felt bad for the little guy.

I am so glad you have brought that up because I have been thinking the same thing. I know people will say 'oh they are only cockroaches' or whatever but I can't bear for any creature to suffer. The little crock thing in with J in the tank was obviously in distress and the eels and things are shot onto the ground when they should be in water to name a couple. So glad I am not the only one who is sensitive to this.
