House Md season 4, why has it stopped?!

It has stopped because of the writers strike. It will resume again in the new year. This is what I have heard and I hope it's true because I love that show. My other shows have stopped as well, like Grey's Anatomy (RIGHT AFTER THEY STARTED THE BIG EVENT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) and CSI (god damn them writers!!!). Anyways, that is what I have heard and hopefully it is true.
There was a new episode this past week. It may have stopped production during the writers strike. I'm sure most series will resume as soon as the strike is over.
Normally in December most channels run "Christmas specials".
Also the writers strike.
Due to the 2007 Writers Guild of America strike, only 12 episodes out of 24 episodes of House has been completed. It is unkown if the remaining 12 episodes will be completed after the strike.
I think it is a combination between the Writers strike in Hollywood and the Christmas season specials.
