In the show Heroes, does Alehandro know English?!

I think he knows some words in English but doesn't comprehend it very well.
He can speak some English but he doesn't understand it, that's why Maya translates it to him.
he doesn't understand much usually maya is the one who translate it for him.. so i think he only knows the basic/simple ones..and too bad he was killed.. *tick tock *
if alajendro know english well i think he would have whacked sylar when he said he will kill alajendro and make maya as his shiny new toy.. in the previous episodes...
I think Alejandro knows English like I know Spanish - a few words and phrases. Most people do, you know.
