The season is not over, If you notice most shows are on break until January. which a lot of shows do every year
but this year with the Writers strike, which is still ongoing most shows that had a mid season Cliff hanger appear to be breaking with that ep. so that when the strike is over they have a couple ready to play while they get caught up with filming so it wont be fresh episode, repeat, fresh episode, repeat.
If you recall the last new episode, Blue, ended w/ Zor-El and Lara vanishing, and Kara waking up in Chicago w/ Amnesia, and CK not knowing where she was. a good cliff hanger on which to keep people waiting until they have new eps. to run repeat free in the new year.
and most Fall to Spring series on Network TV still have the 22 episode season, '24' of course has 24, and Lost has 18 for its last 3 seasons but they technically only start in the Winter. so unless the Writer strike is permanent, SV, season 7 is far from done

No it's not over yet..there's a new episode being shown on December 13th.
Well, I know that supernatural wasn't on last week because it was thanksgiving, and they were playing a movie during that time. The movie started at 8:00, same time as smallville, so the movie took the place of smallville, and supernatural grrr

There wont be a new episode until December 13th and then after that there wont be one until Jan 31st
